OXYLOS LEAK/O2/CO2

 

When producing large volumes, there is a variety of important quantity of quality controls and tests that must be performed on the packaging.

The OXYLOS LEAK/O2/CO2 was developed as a solution for industrial manufacturers that have large production volumes. It allows for the price per control to be reduced due to the volume of tests that have been done. It is dedicated for manufacturers of biscuits or using Modified Atmosphere Packaging.

It is fully automatic and safe as an operator does not need to handle or control the needle. Due to the valve that the OXYLOS has around the needle, this makes it the only gas analyser that can function properly without consumables.

The OXYLOS can combine gas and leak analysis on one sample, with sensitivity down to 5µm. You can have a complete vision of your packaging integrity, and divide your samples volume by 2.
This model includes a complete traceability software which means that your data is available to be accessed remotely via Wireless or Ethernet connection.

 

LEGEND O2/CO2

 

The Abiss Legend Handheld Gas analyser is dedicated to the food industry as well as pharmaceuticals, artifacts, and other similar industries to aid in quality control of Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP). This lightweight and easy to use handheld analyser features a built in pump, low sample volume, Backlighted display,  rechargeable battery in less than 4 hours, and is enclosed in a durable aluminum case, all of which are ideal for the production environment.

EXOS LEAK/O2/CO2

The EXOS LEAK/O2/CO2 is an instrument designed for quality controls of food packaging.

This device gives you a complete vision of your packaging integrity.
The EXOS is able to assess the leak or leak rate and can measure it down to 5µm sensitivity. This highly accurate leak analysis can be combined with gas analysis for Modified Atmosphere Packaging, and combined to burst for seal testing.

OpTech® O₂ – Model P

 

The new OpTech-O2 Model P test system from Mocon operates with a patent-pending Pressure Needle with a sensor to measure the internal pressure of a package and calculates the precise oxygen reading. The internal pressure of the package has a direct impact on the accuracy of the oxygen reading.

The instrument’s ability to automatically compensate for the internal pressure when measuring headspace gas is especially important for small packages, such as blister packs. This is because of the range of actions, such as the force required to insert the needle, can impact the internal pressure of the package. The capability also benefits any package size with unknown internal conditions.

An added benefit of this model is that the sensor of the Pressure Needle is located at the tip and is inserted directly into the headspace, which

eliminates the need to extract headspace to conduct a test. The non-consuming sensors allow long-term shelf-life studies by measuring the changes within the headspace of the same package.

MOCON’s OpTech-O2 technology relies on an optical sensor that “fluoresces” or gives off light directly related to the amount of oxygen that has been measured in the package headspace. In addition to headspace measurement, the OpTech-O2 Model P is a useful tool for measuring oxygen permeation rates down to 1cc/(m2?day).
